Using another bank’s payment service

  • Go to your bank’s website and follow the directions for their online payment program.
  • Allow enough time for delivery to ensure your payment posts on time; some banks may mail a check instead of paying electronically. Chase may not receive your payment the same day you enter it.
  • Avoid using another bank’s payment service if you want to make additional principal or escrow payments as they may not be applied correctly. The best way to make these types of additional payments is to make your payment on chase.com.ÌýLearn more.

Keep in mind:

Ìý

If your payment amount changes due to an adjustment in your escrow or interest rate (for escrowed and/or adjustable-rate mortgages only), a recurring payment service from other banks won’t automatically update, meaning you could pay too much or too little. You can avoid this by signing up for automatic payments onÌýÌýor at yourÌýlocal Chase branch.

Check or money order

Ìý

Mail a check or money order with your payment coupon to the address listed on your statement or go to your local Chase branch. Be sure to send your payment 5 to 7 business days ahead of your due date to allow ample time to reach us before it’s due. Indicate on your coupon if you’re making additional principal or escrow payments.

Ìý

Remember, paying by check or money order doesn’t provide confirmation that we received your payment until you get your next statement.
